You took the first step and scheduled a session! What’s next?

In our first meeting, we take an in-depth look at the concerns that led you to reach out. This is a holistic, wide-ranging discussion that can include talking about family dynamics and history, mental health symptoms, sleep and other health concerns that may impact mental health, your current coping style, and your support systems. We will identify two or three goals and create a treatment plan that will guide our work together.

Where and how often do we meet?

Depending on your therapy goals and needs, we decide on a regular schedule for our meetings. Sessions take place through a secure video link. Therapy and counseling can be brief and solutions focused or can be more long term, with a focus more on depth and ongoing support. Especially in the beginning, consistent meetings are important as we build a good working relationship, get more comfortable with therapy, and dive into your concerns! My services as a therapist are completely confidential and are not reimbursable through Dutch Health Insurance plans.

  • initial session

    An hour-long virtual session where you share your concerns and what brought you here, and we develop a plan for our work together. €140, VAT inclusive.

  • COUNSELING

    We meet virtually, weekly or biweekly (depending on your goals), to address your concerns, symptoms and challenges. €120, VAT inclusive.
